We offer a food assistance service to those who are facing the reality of food insecurity. We favour a monthly food basket type formula.  Users also have access to a self-service counter selling fresh fruits and vegetables depending on availability.

Les Complices Alimentaire Freezer – All Year Round

In exchange for a voluntary donation, users have access to frozen vegetables and fruits from the transformation program of the organization Les Complices Alimentaires

Christmas Baskets – Mid-December

For the holiday season, we are happy to help the entire community. We offer, in the form of baskets, to those who need them and who request them, products to enhance this time of year which is more festive.

PRS supermarket recovery program – All year round

Since November 9, 2023, La Bouffe Additionnelle has been mandated by Moisson Sud-Ouest to operate the Supermarket Recovery Program (PRS) in the Haut-Saint-Laurent territory.

Chefs’ Tablée Recovery – All year round

Through the food recovery program, La Tablée des Chefs, La Bouffe Additionnelle recovers surplus ready meals from the Barrie Memorial Hospital and the CHSLD du Comté de Huntingdon.

Pet Food Recovery Program – Year-Round

The animal represents a very strong social bond for isolated and disadvantaged people, it is their only family and represents the last thing that binds them to life. In addition to breaking their loneliness, the animal brings them comfort in the most difficult times.

This program aims to recover pet food from partner pet stores, veterinarians and grooming salons that is then redistributed to users who own an animal.
