About us
Our mission
La Bouffe Additionnelle is a non-profit organization whose mission is to offer all people who face food challenges in the territory we serve, a complete food assistance service. In addition to meeting immediate needs, we are committed to providing ongoing support, training, and personalized guidance.
Our ultimate goal is to help each person become more resilient to the challenges of food security so that they can act on their situation.
Definition of food insecurity
Food insecurity is the inability to obtain, consume or be able to obtain or consume food of sufficient quality or quantity in a socially acceptable manner. Household food insecurity is often linked to a financial inability to provide adequate food.
